The Hypogeum of Ħal Saflieni is a necropolis and sanctuary dating back more than 5,000 years.

Xrobb l-Għaġin is considered a destroyed site since very little remains and it's inaccessible. It had a typical four-apse-plus-niche layout.

Tarxien is made up of four temples and is the only site to have one with six apses. Giant pottery vessels were excavated from the complex.

Borġ l-Imramma is the scanty remains of a megalithic temple located on the Ta' Ċenċ plateau in Gozo. It's never been excavated.

Kordin III is made up of a trefoil temple, an irregular shaped temple and several other remains which might be part of an earlier village.

Santa Verna is around 1km west of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ġgantija. A few megaliths remain of what was once a five apse temple.

Buġibba Temple is a four-apse-plus-niche megalithic temple a 2.5 kilometres north of the scanty remains of Tal-Qadi.

Ta' Ħaġrat is made up of a trefoil megalithic temple joined to an irregular lobed building to the east. It's close to the Skorba temples.

Mnajdra is 500m from the Ħaġar Qim site. It's made up of three megalithic temples arranged around a central forecourt.

Ħaġar Qim is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple complex has three megalithic buildings which are more than 5,000 years old.
